The Vande Bharat Express train will be launched between Patna and Ranchi before end of this year 2023. Though the date has not been disclosed, pilots and crew are being trained.

This train will travel from Ranchi  railway station in Jharkhand’s capital city to Patna railway station via Tati Silwai,BIT Mesra,Barkakana and Hazaribagh.

The semi-high-speed train is set to depart from Ranchi at 7.30 am and arrive at Patna at 2 pm. From Patna, it will depart 3.30 pm and reach Ranchi at 10.30 pm.

A senior officer of said that the Railway ministry has sought time schedule of Vande Bharat Ranchi- Patna route.”To run this super express train for Ranchi- Patna has been almost cleared”, he said on condition of anonymity.

The first Vande Bharat Express train for the Ranchi- Patna is planned to be run for six days in a week.The maintenance of this train is going to take place at Hatia Ward.” The prime and secondary maintenance of this train will take place at Ranchi and Patna station wards respectively”,he added.
