Come April 15 and actress Ameesha Patel and her business partner Krunal will gain the attention of the Ranchi civil court.

So because the same court had ordered the issuance of a warrant against the actress Ameesha and her business partner Krunal on Thursday while fixing the next date of hearing the case of fraud and cheque bounce in which they were accused.

The complainant, in this case, is Ajay Kumar Singh. He who is a film producer from Jharkhand had registered a case of fraud, intimidation, and cheque bounce against Ameesha Patel and her partner.

The Ranchi court sounded against them since neither she nor her business partner had kept their stand before the court despite the summons. Notably, she and her lawyer had not even appeared before the court. 

In view of the fact that the next hearing in the case is scheduled for April 15, complainant Ajay Kumar Singh informed the media that she and her business partner had taken Rs 2.5 crore from him for the making and publicity of a film titled Desi Magic.

According to Ajay Kumar, Ameesha Patel and her business partner had said that they would return the money along with interest after the completion of the film. 

The shooting of Desi Magic started in 2013. However, the film has not been released yet. When the filmmaker asked for his money from Ameesha Patel, she did not repay it to him.

After a lot of delays, she gave him two cheques for Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 50 lakh in October 2018, which bounced.
