On the occasion of Jharkhand’s 17th foundation day,the state and the Union government’s Sports departments organised three-day sports competition in Ranchi.

Held under the banner of ‘Khelo India’,the three day competition starting on Saturday concluded on Monday.In all,about 3000 sports persons took party in it.They participated in Hockey,Football,Athletics and Archery competitions.

These sports competitions were helds inside Hockey Astroturf Stadium in Morahabadi Maidan in Ranchi.Jharkhand Sports Director Ranendra Kumar said that these events had encouraged sportspersons who had performed well.
