While JMM leader Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant is gearing up to participate in the opposition meeting in Bihar’s Patna on Friday, the BJP President JP Nadda honoured the Kedia brothers in Giridih.

Before returning to Ranchi, Nadda is understood to have gained the support of many traditional music lovers in Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal by awarding  Manoj Kedia and his brother Mor Mukut Kedia who had rocked in these parts of the country through their sitar and sarod jugalabandi.

Inquiry revealed that since 1975, Manoj, a santur player was performing jugalabandi with his brother Mor Mukut, a sitar player. Whenever they performed a Jugalbandi people were left amazed after listening to them, especially in West Bengal.

Their father Sambhu Dayal Kedia, a nationally acclaimed Tabla player took Mor Mukut to Sarod at the age of 7 under the guidance of Praja Nandi jee, Acharya Raja Ram Shukla. In view of their excellent record in the traditional music sector, BJP President Nadda awarded him.

Prior to him, Rajasthan Ex CM Vasundhara Raje offered prayers at Babadham, Deoghar, and addressed rallies in Karabani in Dumka district on June 14.

Next, before returning to Giridih, Vasundhara Raje participated in Sampark Se Suppiry programme organized by the state BJP in Karanpura and Jhagri.

Nadda and Vasundhara Raje’s programmes were part of the BJP’s mass contact campaign in Jharkhand where the JMM- Congress- RJD coalition government led by CM Soren is aggressively campaigning against the BJP.

Today, CM Soren handed over appointment letters to 2,550 persons at Morahabadi Maidan in Ranchi. Addressing the gathering, he claimed that “ so many youths had got appointment letters at a go for the first time since the birth of Jharkhand in 2000.”

Recently, CM Soren who is set to take part in the Opposition meeting in Patna on Friday, has made appointments and promoted a number of engineers and addressed public meetings as part of his move to reach out to people in Jharkhand.
