The  Oxygen level of Jharkhand Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto has declined inside the COVID Centre of the state government-run RIMS hospital in Ranchi. After he had complaint of cold, cough, fever and breathing problems, he was brought from his house in Bokaro to Ranchi and admitted there on Sunday.

'After he was tested Positive, he was being treated by doctors of Corana Task Force", informed the RIMS doctor. He is among 974 new COVID-19 new cases in Jharkhand.    

As many as nine more deaths due to COVID-19 were recorded, a government report disclosed today. This had increased the death toll to 679, the same report adds. 

As of now,79,910 people have been infected by the virus in the state, the report revealed."There are 12,433 active cases at present."

What is noteworthy is that the state of Jharkhand has reported 66,797 recoveries so far. In all, total 22,342 samples were tested for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
