For the first time, Durga Pandals of Ranchi are being watched by scores of people online.

This was the outcome of a sense of fear prevalent among people about the coronavirus. Though sanitizer and masks were being provided to visitors free of cost, almost all pandals were free from the crowd.

“ We are watching it online”, said Sudhir Singh, a school teacher, echoing the sentiments of a dozen residents of the capital city of Jharkhand on Sunday.
